DeYoung will debut two explorations of sound, performance, and visual storytelling at London’s experimental arts festival.

Professor Johannes DeYoung is set to present two experimental works at the 2024 Altered Images Film and Music Festival in London this month. DeYoung’s Diamond Head (Laeahi) and his collaborative project Mirror Mirror (Double Vision) with artist Natalie Westbrook will feature as part of this year’s festival.

Embracing new media arts, performance, and activism, Altered Images is known for pushing artistic boundaries through live music, projections, and installations, offering an immersive and inclusive experience that brings together diverse voices and disciplines. The festival will take place on October 11, 2024, at LOKI in collaboration with IKLECTIK, a nonprofit organization that supports experimental sound and art.
